How did the show as a whole make you feel?
Engaged, smugly enjoying the chaos.
What did you think it was about?
Seemed to be an ever changing state of “chaos” of two seriously unhinged couples attempting to hide their own flaws and do what they assume is proper and adult to resolve an incident between their children.
I really wanted to find out the cause of the incident that led to the child violence.
What was your most memorable part?
Pretty much all of it, there’s a sadistic joy in seeing people just lay into each other and I’m surprisingly happy it was never really resolved, they just gave up and admitted they are awful people. Very relatable.
Did you fall asleep?
Any notable mentions?
Alan trying to establish a high status by asking for an “espresso” and Micheal trying to match it and failing by pronouncing it “expresso”. I thought that was great.
Paul Johnson’s moustache adds terrifying depth to his character.
